This one I called 'Cupcakes and dreams'.My inspiration was basically a love of cupcakes and the hope of one day owning a nail salon/cupcake shop! I also love using a palette of colours and then do a different design on each hand.

I was inspired by Ulta Ginger Peach, a subtly pearly polish that looks pink in some light and orange in others. I kept wanting to call it Ginger Pumpkin, which sounds like a fabulous dessert, so I made a manicure surrounding it for Halloween.  This is my first time using a brush to make the jack-o-face!

I decided to submit my back to school manicure, which was inspired by The Daily Nail itself!  The pencil was taken from the tutorial for pencil nails, and the apple was from a cutepolish design.  Then I just brainstormed other back-to-school type things for the other nails.  I really loved this manicure and I think it's one of my best ones so far.

I got the colour block idea from fashion in general (I think), and then just worked with whatever polishes I had right then for the colour choice.

I've seen fireworks done countless times and decided I'd give it a try myself! The best part is if you don't do every line perfect it still looks pretty good haha

I am currently doing a Where In The World challenge with a few other bloggers, where we do nail art inspired by different countries around the world. This was inspired by the Canadian Mounties uniform and the thumb is, of course, the maple leaf from the Canadian flag. I wanted to try the pencil nail art by cutepolish (TDN Note- cutepolish's pencil tutorial was inspired by my I've Gotta Go No. 2 design :)), when a friend showed me a picture of notebook paper nail art. A formula was written on each nail. So I tried my hand at combining the two ideas (with a few more ideas thrown in). And... Well, this happened!

These are my Hello Kitty nails, they were inspired by my daughters bathrobe, she loved them so much I painted hers in a similar way, though those lasted about 2 hours on my 6 year old.

I was suffering from some nail art block and decided to take a look in my jewellery draw for inspiration, I found lots of black and gold with studs and skulls! I did this freehand using regular nail polish and the gradients were done using the kitchen sponge technique.

I was inspired to do this design when my nail studs finally arrived in the mail. I started with one of my favorite neons: China Glaze's Flip Flop Fantasy and added studs. Then my grandmother told me I needed to add glitter! And viola, this totally studly manicure was born.  The next day I went to Disneyland and I found out that this design looked awesome under black light!

 call these fall mosaics! The inspiration behind them was (again) the China Glaze On Safari collection... I seriously can't get enough of these colors, I think I have a problem. They're just so amazing and they all go so well together. I used 11 of the 12 colors in the collection for these nails! I think they look kinda like stained glass, too. I painted the glitter on first and then freehanded the shapes on top of it to create the mosaic effect. Glitter makes everything better, in my opinion.

These are my zombie nails. I was inspired first by your Let it slide manicure, in which instead of doing the super cute Halloween nail art you went for ugly and disgusting, and that's super cool! Then I saw Samarium's blog where she created ugly dirty zombie nails. I think these two manicures are more Halloween-ish than the cute pumpkin patch ones. And I kinda like when people ogle my nails in utter disgust.

I was amazed how different their nail fashion trends are from those in Europe and USA - abstract designs, different for each nail, lots of big rhinestones and 3D decorations.
